Dear John Labedz,
I just wanted to let you know that in a matter of minutes I have gone from a frustrated car owner to a stress free, completely satisfied, and renewed dealer service center guy. You have not only brought me from the brink of car dependability hell to up and running the same day. I can't even express in words what you, Mr. Brian Lawrence, and your mechanical staff have done for me personally. I will do my best here to capture my gratitude so any and all other Volvo owners who bring their vehicles to your department can know about the quality you provide.
My 240 DL Sedan with 150,603 miles on had untimely right wheel bearing issue. I was sure that replacement was needed and parts would be untimely for the repair to be completed. I priced the parts and labor throughout the valley and had an expectation set. The closest other repair locations either didn't call me back or couldn't provide a shuttle or loaner vehicle. When we spoke personally on Saturday, you were able to schedule me in, offered a loaner vehicle, and provided me with what I consider to be the most helpful of service advisors (Brian Lawrence). I now understand why Brian is so sought after and consulting other clients in similar predicaments. Upon arriving back at my home, and fifteen minutes later, I received a call from Brian Lawrence. He indicated the issue was found not only in one wheel bearing but both on the front axel. However, replacement parts would not be required, but repacking them would. The updated quote was reduced compared to the original, and I would end up with two wheel bearings repacked instead of the single I expected. In addition to that good news, I would be back in my own sedan by later in the afternoon.
For all this I am deeply appreciated and completely satisfied for your services that all of you have provided.

BTW: The loaner vehicle, an S40 T5 has just become the target of our budgeted future car fund. We had been considering other makes and models, but you have brought us back to the fold. We have always been smitten by Volvos over the years and have owned several at one time or another, a 240 DL Sedan, a 740 Turbo Wagon, and a 960 Wagon. I guess it really is true what they say; "Volvo: Service For Life"

The service that Powell Volvo provides is 5 Star Quality. They really think of every minute detail by keeping the customer in mind. I am in outside sales, so every minute i am not in front of a customer means i loose the capability to make money. From the loaner car program, to having water/internet/phone access at your facility truly shows you respect our time and value our business. That is why I am on my third Volvo- convenience & service!

The service we had on our Volvo was great! They could diagnose the problem that I had with the car, but they were extremely through, and made sure the car was running the way it should. The convience of a courtesy vehicle was an added bonus and I loved driving the new s60!

i had to replace the transmission in my 2003 s-60 2.4t which cost me approx $5300. my service advisor - jud white explained my options to me and the repair was a better option for me than the other alternatives. i was very pleased with the work and the service provided by jud and his team but not very happy that a car of this type, which has a history of poor transmissions, was not addressed by volvo and resolved before i incurred such an expense. this should not be a repair that owners of volvo's should have to bear. the quality of your cars is purported to be much better and in that, i am dissappointed. i chose the best option i had at my disposal and appreciate the fine work that jud and his team did on my vehicle, but wish that volvo would resolve the transmission problems in this vehicle. thank you

I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate how hard your Service Advisor Todd, worked to get my car fixed. The car needed additional work after the fact, and Todd made sure it was done right, and followed up with all parties involved. He really was on top of it. Not everyone would do that. The people who work for Tempe of Volvo are the ones who really make the company what it is. Because of his outstanding service I don't want to take my car anywhere else.
